Recently, a super silent diesel generator manufactured by Tide Power using model TCM250C4 is installed in the Embassy of The People’s Republic of China with rating of 250kVA prime power and 275kVA standby power for their power requirement.

Solomon Island is located in the south west of the Pacific Ocean and belongs to the Melanesian group of Islands. It is about 1600 kilometer from South West of Australia and 485 kilometer west of Papua New Guinea, and is directly opposite to Vanuatu in the South East. The super silent diesel generator set with model TCM250C4 manufactured by Tide Power Technology is using Cummins QSL8.9-G4 engine and is installed in the Embassy of The People’s Republic of China in Solomon Island for their power need. 

The generator set is employing a brand new engine equipped with super silent canopy and residential silencer (with noise level of 65 dBA at 3 meter). With the island surrounded by the ocean, the environment is with high salinity level and high humidity. So in order to avoid corrosive effect on the unit, special treatment has been used to protect all the electrical and mechanical components. The unit therefore is employing anti-salinity radiator and that the base frame is treated with special marine paint.
