1. Selection of diesel fuel

In winter, the choice of diesel is particularly important. Diesel has different grades according to its pour point, and corresponding grades are selected based on the lowest temperature in the usage environment to avoid wax deposition and ensure smooth fuel supply to the engine. Generally, diesel grades are chosen to be about 5 lower than the ambient temperature to prevent low-temperature wax deposition.

2. Check the engine oil

Engine oil is the "blood" of the engine, and it plays multiple important functions inside the engine, including lubrication, wear reduction, cooling, and cooling. However, as the temperature decreases, the viscosity of the oil increases and its fluidity deteriorates. If the labeling is incorrect, during the initial start-up of the equipment, there will be high frictional resistance, making it difficult to start, which can easily lead to serious engine cylinder malfunctions. Friends can check whether the current oil grade used is suitable according to the table below.

3. Check the antifreeze

Antifreeze plays a role in preventing coolant from freezing and damaging the engine. It is recommended that friends regularly replace the antifreeze and check if the liquid level is sufficient. When choosing antifreeze, it is recommended to choose products with a label that is 10 or more lower than the lowest temperature in your area to prevent the volume expansion of the coolant after freezing, which may cause damage to the components.

4. Check the battery

In cold weather, the efficiency of batteries will decrease. Meanwhile, the required electrical energy for starting will actually increase. To ensure the smooth start of the engine, please check if the battery voltage is below 24V and charge it in a timely manner. Please note that non original batteries should not be used to avoid affecting engine performance and safety.
