Two generator sets, whether of the same brand or different brands, must have the following factors in order to be combined: ① the same voltage, ② the same frequency, ③ the same phase, ④ the same phase sequence, ⑤ the same coil pitch

Control requirements: ① The parallel control module outputs voltage regulation signals to the parallel generator set ② The parallel control module outputs speed regulation signals to the parallel engine governor ③ Electronic circuit breaker ④ The same load distribution module (existing parallel control modules all have load distribution function, and the same model needs to be selected)

The output control signals of different parallel modules are different, and the signals that can be accepted by the Pressure regulator and governor of parallel generator sets are also different. Therefore, we must consider the parallel function when selecting new units. Select the same Pressure regulator and governor as the original Pressure regulator and governor to receive signals. Determine the parallel control module and parallel plan for two units.

In conclusion, when selecting new generator units, we need to consider the voltage level, rated speed, generator pitch, Pressure regulator type and governor type of new generator units. And select appropriate parallel control modules based on the information of the existing and newly added units.

It is undeniable that when two generator sets with identical configurations are combined, there will be advantages in selecting the parallel module and designing the parallel scheme. However, the configurations of the same brand may also be different, and the above factors must be carefully analyzed when designing a parallel solution.
