Customized Solutions: A Deep Dive into User Scenarios

For this project’s 10 units, Tide Power selected Yuchai MTU engines paired with Leroy-Somar alternators and Deep Sea controllers. This combination has been repeatedly validated in multi-unit parallel and load-balancing scenarios, ensuring precise synchronization during parallel operation — whether in light-load standby or full-load output, system response remains consistent.

When utility power fails, the window for generator sets is extremely narrow — typically requiring startup and full load assumption within 10 to 15 seconds. Yuchai MTU engines are designed for mission-critical scenarios, featuring rapid startup and strong single-step load acceptance, with tested capability to assume 100% of rated load.

Southeast Asia’s year-round high temperatures and humidity consistently above 80% pose a continuous challenge to equipment cooling and long-term operational stability. During the selection phase, continuous output capability under tropical climate conditions was thoroughly evaluated. The matched Leroy-Somar alternator is known for its compact structure, high efficiency, and low failure rate, capable of meeting the demands of long-term operation under harsh conditions.
