Island Environment: How Does the Equipment “Hold Up”?

Indonesia’s high temperatures, high humidity, and severe salt-spray corrosion place extreme demands on equipment weatherability. During the unit selection phase, Tide Power proactively strengthened anti-salt-spray corrosion treatment — radiators and alternators feature special coatings and sealing processes. High-temperature radiators rated for 40°C ensure efficient output even under extreme climate conditions. Each unit is additionally equipped with smart sensors for real-time monitoring of temperature and pressure, adding an extra layer of “insurance” for long-term stable operation.

Rapid Deployment: How to “Save Time”

The archipelago terrain places higher demands on equipment transportation and on-site construction. The standard containerized design means units are pre-assembled and pre-commissioned at the factory. Upon arrival at the site, only positioning, gas pipeline connection, and electrical wiring are required before commissioning and grid connection can begin. This approach significantly shortens sea transport and on-site construction timelines, enabling power supply to keep pace with the rapid growth of local demand.

Multi-Unit Parallel Operation: How to “Coordinate” Effectively

The core challenge of operating multiple generator units in parallel lies in load balancing and synchronization control.
